    Our client is one of the top-ranking contact solutions companies recognized by the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers. They are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to be responsible for product design from concept through mass production, technical coordination with customers and suppliers, and cross-functional project execution.

    Report to: Senior Designing Manger

    【Responsibilities】
    1. Product Design & Development
    - Design and develop IC sockets and/or connectors for semiconductor applications
    - Develop products using machined parts, stamped parts, and injection-molded components
    - Lead projects from concept design to mass production, including prototyping, design iterations, and production release
    - Perform tolerance analysis and apply GD&T for high-precision mechanical components

    2. Design Quality & Engineering Validation
    - Conduct DFM / DFA / DFMEA at both part and assembly levels
    - Perform failure analysis and root cause investigation, and define corrective actions
    - Ensure design robustness for high power, high current, and/or high-speed applications

    3. Co-Design & Simulation
    - Collaborate in mechanical, thermal, and electrical co-design activities
    - Perform mechanical simulation (FEA) using SolidWorks
    - Conduct thermal simulations for air or liquid cooling solutions using SolidWorks
    - Perform high-frequency electromagnetic simulation using Ansys HFSS

    4. Customer & Supplier Interface
    - Conduct technical discussions with customers
    - Translate customer requirements into detailed engineering specifications
    - Coordinate with tool makers, machining vendors, molding suppliers, or in-house factories
    - Provide technical support during product development and production phases

    5. Project & Team Leadership
    - Lead engineering projects and/or engineering teams as a technical lead or engineering manager
    - Manage cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, sales, and supply chain teams
    - Oversee project timelines, technical milestones, and deliverables

  • 任职资格

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Minimum Diploma holder
    - Minimum 5 years of proven experience in IC socket or connector design and development, including full-cycle product development from concept to mass production.
    - Possess leadership experience
    ‐ Experience in mechanical product design using machining, stamping, and injection molding processes.
    - Strong knowledge of DFM / DFA / DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.
    - Experience in mechanical, thermal, and electrical co-design, with proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, 2D drawing, FEA, and thermal simulation) and Ansys HFSS (high-frequency simulation).
    - Fluent in English for effective communication with internal and external counterparts.

    - Experience in semiconductor industry
    - Experience with high-precision or high-reliability products
    - Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
    - Possess procurement experience in Japanese manufacturing companies
    - Immediate or short notice is highly preferred
