Our Client is an established Japanese Company which produces and sells polyvinyl alcohol resin and related chemicals. Project Engineer (Electrical and Instrumentation) is responsible for managing engineering projects with a strong understanding of condensation processes and hands-on experience in simple facilities design.【Responsibilities】- Manage and oversee Electrical, Instrumentation, and DCS engineering projects from basic/detail design through installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.- Design, specify, and review E&I equipment, control systems, and instrumentation; evaluate contractor/vendor specifications and drawings in collaboration with the project team.- Develop and implement project execution plans, including resource allocation, schedule management, and risk mitigation strategies.- Act as the on-site engineering interface between contractors and the internal project team, ensuring site safety, supervision, and safe work permit coordination.- Review and resolve technical issues during construction, ensuring formal resolution between contractors and the project team.- Liaise with the Project Manager and discipline engineers to ensure proper coordination and interface across multiple engineering disciplines.- Ensure engineering activities comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.- Investigate variation orders, assess impact, and recommend resolutions.- Troubleshoot and resolve E&I issues during project execution and commissioning phases.- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including project management, consultants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.- Conduct vendor workshops (e.g., FAT) and site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and verify quality.- Prepare and review project reports, including status updates, budget tracking, and technical documentation.- Identify project risks and develop contingency plans to minimize impact.- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
