  • Job Description

    Our client is a Japanese food trading company and is looking for a Sales Executive (Food Trading) to maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.

    Reporting Line: Sales Manager

    【Responsibilities】
    - Update and maintain the client database.
    - Manage and develop existing accounts to gain product knowledge and industry experience. Opportunities for new business development will be introduced progressively.
    - Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through regular visits and communication.
    - Identify and develop new business opportunities.
    - Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with prospective clients.
    - Prepare and present quotations to clients.
    - Ensure excellent after-sales service and customer satisfaction.
    - Build a sales pipeline through outbound activities and develop new qualified business opportunities.
    - Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
    - At least 2 years of sales experience in the food industry.
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    - Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) to communicate with Japanese-speaking clients, suppliers, and headquarters and to handle business-related documentation.
    - Able to work on alternate Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
    - Willing to travel overseas for business trips approximately once a year, mainly to Japan and Thailand.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience in developing new business opportunities and managing client relationships.
