    Our client, a prominent Japanese food trading company specializing in seafood imports, is seeking a Sales Executive (Fresh Food Division) to be responsible for handling and expanding the company’s key accounts. You will manage customer relations and provide pragmatic solutions to drive revenue within the accounts under your care.


    【Responsibilities】
    - Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industry, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals
    - Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
    - Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets
    - Work with suppliers, vendors, and customers to secure favourable sales, pricing, and delivery terms
    - Establish and foster strategic partnerships with key industry players, business partners, clients and vendors
    - Manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and performance, ensuring profitability
    - Collaborate with other departments, such as Production & Logistics, to ensure smooth execution of commercial plans

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    <Must>
    - Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related business
    - Fluent in English to communicate with counterparts
    ‐At least 2 years of related experience in commodity sales and/or trading
    - Inexperienced candidates who are flexible and eager to kick-start a sales career at a fast-paced, growing company are welcome to apply!
    - Possess a high interest in Japan, like Japanese food and Japanese culture.
    - Proactive, quick to report and escalate to superiors when trouble arises.
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and computer literacy in preparing manuals, documents, etc.

    <Preferable>
    - Has a driver's licence, or is willing to obtain one soon.
    - A stable career background (at least 2 years of experience in the same company, if applicable)
    - Experience as a B2B salesperson in a trading company or food manufacturing/wholesale trading.
    - Possess working experience in a Japanese company and understand its culture.
