Job Description
Our Client specialised in cold and dry storage facilities, providing services including Storage and Distribution. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a 1 year contract.
Reporting to: Finance & Admin Manager
Working days & time: 5.5 days (Alternate half day Saturday)
Monday - Fri - 8:15 am-5:15 pm
Sat - 8.:15am to 12:45pm (Alternate)
【Responsibilities】
1. Financial Accounting, Reporting and Planning
- Prepare accurate and timely month-end reports, as well as monthly and annual financial statement
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and manage the company’s budget, capital expenditures (CAPEX) and fixed assets register
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and company policies
- Handle HQ financial reporting requirements
- Attend monthly P&L review meetings with the Finance & Admin Manager
2. Audit & Compliance
- Involve in year-end, internal, external and IT audits and handle all audit-related matters
- Review and ensure accuracy of GST Submissions
3. Administration and Others
- Handle periodic surveys and submissions to relevant authorities
- Handle any ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the Management
Qualifications
Requirement
【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of statutory requirements, GST regulations, and audit processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting Software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently under tight deadlines.
- Able to start immediately or in short notice
(Advantageous)
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualifications (eg. ACCA, CPA)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Business CentralEnglish Level
