Our Client is an import-export company. This role will be responsible for the daily operations of shipping.
Reporting to the Team Supervisor
【Responsibilities】
- Support the shipping team in fulfilling daily operations
- Take charge of handling import and export documentation (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, customs clearance permits for import and export)
- Ensure accurate and organised documentation for all other departments
- Liaise with the warehouse on incoming goods, existing inventory, and export of goods to customers
- Coordinate with forwarders for any shipment-related requirements

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Minimum A Level
- 2 years of experience in shipping-related positions, handling import & export
- Has hands-on experience or knowledge in freight forwarding and inventory management
- Experience in flow and control of stocks
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin counterparts
(Advantageous)
- Certified trade declarant for Singapore customers (passed SC401) is highly preferred英文

This role plays a critical part in ensuring fleet operations comply with international regulations while supporting safety, efficiency, and performance optimization across global operations.The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between the owner, ship management companies, and external stakeholders, and will be involved in both operational and strategic initiatives.【 Responsibilities 】1. Fleet Safety & Marine Operations- Establish, implement, and maintain the company’s fleet safety and security policies.- Work closely with ship management companies to supervise and enhance HSEQ policies and practices.- Serve as the technical point-of-contact during maritime incidents or casualties, including crisis management, investigation, root cause analysis, and reporting.- Monitor and disseminate safety, environmental protection, pollution prevention, and epidemic control information to vessels and internal stakeholders.- Assess port safety, navigation routes, anchorages, and meteorological conditions to support safe vessel operations.- Oversee vessel certification, compliance, and documentation, liaising with flag states, class societies, and relevant authorities.- Support insurance-related matters including risk analysis, P&I coordination, and claims handling.2. Hull, Machinery & Maintenance Oversight- Monitor ship management companies’ maintenance strategies (daily and long-term).- Review procurement and supply of spare parts to ensure vessels meet operational and regulatory standards.- Coordinate with ship management companies and class societies on survey, inspection, and certification matters.- Conduct fuel consumption analysis and propose navigation and operational optimization initiatives.- Review and approve annual vessel budgets and ad-hoc expenditures prepared by ship management companies.3. Commercial & Project-Related Support- Assist in feasibility studies for new vessel investments.- Supervise newbuilding projects, including sea trials and vessel handover.- Support the purchase and handover of second-hand vessels, ensuring technical and safety compliance.
