Job Description
Our client is one of the world’s leading engineering companies in the design and manufacturing of factory automation systems such as robotics systems, auto packaging systems, automated assembly lines, and automated storage systems.
They are looking for a Sales Strategy Manager (Semiconductor) to lead and grow our semiconductor sales function. This role will drive new business development and expand the sales performance from enquiry to completion across the semiconductor and industrial automation markets.

【Responsibilities】
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities, risks, and strategic gaps.
- Formulate and review pricing strategies, sales policies, and contract terms to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Identify, develop, and manage key strategic accounts, particularly major semiconductor manufacturers and OEM/EMS customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships and an extensive customer network within the semiconductor industry.
- Drive customer engagement by promoting company solutions that address both technical and commercial requirements.
- Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis, monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, and provide strategic recommendations to management based on market intelligence.
- Coordinate product launches, technical presentations, and customer briefings in collaboration with internal engineering and product teams.
- Gather and consolidate customer feedback and market insights, and work with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement of products, solutions, and sales approaches.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics
- Around 8-10 years of strong sales engineering and business development experience within the semiconductor industry
- Experience selling factory automation / production / equipment / system solutions (not components only)
- Proven track record engaging Tier-1 semiconductor fabs and OEM/EMS customers (e.g. wafer fabs, backend assembly, test facilities)
- Solid understanding of semiconductor products, applications, and market dynamics.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking counterparts
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, site visits, or project support.
(Advantageous)
- Exposure to mechanical design and/or AutoCAD is a strong advantage
- Experience working in a Japanese companyEnglish Level
