    Our client offers the world easy access to parts and accessories for material handling, industrial, construction, and agricultural equipment. The role of a Sales Advisor (Japanese speaking) will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and prospects in the Japanese market. Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Managers (BDMs), Team Leader, and internal teams, you will drive business growth and expand the customer portfolio within the assigned region.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Manage both inbound and outbound sales communications with customers and prospects.
    - Prepare quotations and process orders, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up.
    - Actively gather and share market intelligence, including product pricing trends, competitor activities, and economic developments.
    - Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate with the Quality Team and Managers to ensure effective resolution.
    - Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless customer service and operational efficiency.
    - Provide commercial support to the Regional Manager and Business Development Managers (BDMs).
    - Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
    - Drive proactive sales initiatives, including promotional campaigns, product-of-the-week activities, and outbound sales calls.
    - Follow up on interdepartmental responses and communicate updates clearly to customers and prospects.
    - Support customer development initiatives for Japan and other assigned markets, including prospect exploration and outreach activities.
    - Provide team backup support when required.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    (Must)
    - Diploma in any related field
    - 1-2 years of experience in technical-commercial sales, customer service, engineering, or similar
    - Candidates without prior sales experience are welcome to apply if they demonstrate a strong interest in building a career in sales, are highly proactive, and possess a strong drive to achieve results. (Training will be provided)
    - Business level of spoken and written English and Japanese (JLPT N2 and above) is required to liaise and communicate with English and Japanese-speaking counterparts
    - Willing to do cold calling, and proactively learn and achieve the company and team targets

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience working in forklift parts/material handling parts and equipment market in Singapore
