The Assistant Manager (Design) – Mechanical & Electrical is responsible for managing and executing MEP design and supervision activities for building projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with client requirements. This role reports to the Head of Department (HOD).【 Responsibilities 】- Execute design and supervision work for commissioned projects in line with construction quality assurance systems, guiding design staff to produce documents that meet client requirements.- Consolidate project information, report to MEP and Technical & Construction departments, and support problem-solving to achieve project outcomes.- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance design technologies and apply them effectively in projects.- Review existing processes to identify solutions for work execution challenges.- Coordinate and engage with stakeholders through continuous dialogue, understanding their positions and perspectives.- Develop execution plans based on HOD policies and strategies, lead their implementation, and contribute to achieving departmental objectives.- Conduct site surveys and consolidate critical information for effective project planning and team communication.- Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP services in line with project specifications.- Generate and maintain BIM documentation, progress reports, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement.- Participate in defect resolution teams and provide strategic recommendations to close client complaints and quality issues.- Maintain and enhance the MEP Handbook, updating best practices and sharing knowledge within the department.- Keep the technical library current, including codes of practice and regulatory requirements.- Propose innovative technical solutions and value-adding recommendations for clients and consultants.
