  • Job Description

    Our client, a Japanese logistics company, is seeking a Sales Coordinator (Import & Export) to support its international sales and logistics operations.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Manage and coordinate international shipments from order to delivery.
    - Prepare and handle all import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures.
    - Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
    - Track and monitor shipment schedules, proactively resolving delays or logistical issues.
    - Provide sales support by handling customer inquiries and coordinating orders.
    - Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
    - Maintain accurate shipping records and reports for internal and regulatory purposes.
    - Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to streamline import/export processes.
    - Support trade compliance activities, including reviewing regulatory requirements.
    - Contribute to continuous process improvement in logistics and supply chain operations.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or equivalent qualification in any field
    - Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export operations or freight forwarding
    - Good knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
    - Hands-on experience in documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking
    - Strong ability to liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
    - Proficiency in English, as it is required for communication with international counterparts

    (Advantageous)
    - Candidates who are able to start immediately will be preferred
    - Educational background in logistics, supply chain, international business, or related field
    - Experience in trade compliance and regulatory requirements
    - Familiarity with shipping software and tracking systems
    - Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    - Strong analytical skills in monitoring shipment timelines and performance
    - Relevant industry certifications will be an added advantage
