    Our client, a publicly listed Japanese company in the electronics and electrical equipment industry, is seeking a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive. This role focuses on driving sales growth through demand creation activities, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring effective account management of existing customers.

    You will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

    【Responsibilities】

    1) New Business Development
    - Proactively identify, approach, and develop new customer accounts within the Southeast Asia region.
    - Generate leads and engage new prospects through personal networks, referrals, and cold calling.
    - Drive mid- to long-term business growth by developing and executing strategic plans.
    - Take ownership of customer leads, manage inquiries, and follow through to successful project implementation.
    - Plan and implement sales promotional activities such as campaigns, technical seminars, and marketing events.
    - Share key strategies, policies, and business information with distribution partners to support business development efforts.

    2) Account Management for Existing Customers
    - Proactively drive demand creation by identifying new project opportunities within existing accounts and ensuring stable, organic sales growth.
    - Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to overall business performance.
    - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing consistent and timely support.
    - Introduce and promote new product lines to expand sales within the existing customer base.
    - Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, including delivery schedules and general support.

    3) Operations and Customer Service Support
    - Collaborate closely with the customer service team to ensure timely and accurate shipment arrangements.
    - Communicate product-related business updates and provide clear strategic guidance to customers and distribution partners.
    - Oversee and coordinate Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End-of-Life (EOL) announcements, ensuring timely acceptance and approvals from all relevant parties.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electronic component sales.
    - Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N2) to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    - Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and SAP.
    - Willing to travel within the Asia region as required (frequency dependent on customer needs).
