    Our client, a Japanese importer of foodstuffs, supplies a wide range of products to retailers and restaurants across Singapore. They are currently looking for a Logistics Manager.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Oversees strategic planning, budget management, and team supervision
    - Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
    - Operations Management: Plan, manage, and evaluate daily logistics operations, including inbound/outbound transportation and fleet management
    - Cost Control & Strategy: Negotiate rates with carriers and providers to minimize transportation costs and improve financial performance
    - Inventory & Warehouse Control: Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage stock levels, warehouse layout, and inventory accuracy to optimize fulfillment
    - Performance Metrics (KPIs): Monitor key metrics such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF)
    - Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with safety protocols (OSHA)
    - Process Improvement: Implement Lean principles and technology solutions to maximize supply chain efficiency
    - Others: Act as a safety member for the Company
    - Assisting with deliveries where require
    - Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

资格

  • 任职资格

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - At least 3–5 years of proven experience in logistics, wholesale distribution, retail supply chain, or warehouse management
    - Experience managing approximately 20 to 35 employees
    - Strong proficiency in logistics and warehouse management software (WMS/TMS) and inventory tracking tools
    - Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt quickly to market disruptions
    - Available to work extended hours

    (Advantageous)
    - Ability to operate a forklift
    - Valid driver’s license
