  • Job Description

    Our client is an ICT solutions provider under a major Japanese group, delivering enterprise IT infrastructure, network integration, managed services, and digital solutions to corporate clients across Singapore and the APAC region. They are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join their Singapore office.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Provide technical consultation, solutions, and product knowledge to support the Sales team.
    - Identify customers’ business and technical requirements and generate sales opportunities by proposing appropriate solutions.
    - Design optimal IT infrastructure solutions to achieve customer business outcomes and maximize ROI and satisfaction.
    - Present solutions to customers and prepare technical proposals, including cost estimation.
    - Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to enhance existing solution portfolios.
    - Work closely with technology and business partners to build and expand strategic relationships.
    - Handover confirmed projects to the Engineering team for implementation.
    - Maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on retention and upselling opportunities

Qualifications

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    （Must)
    - At least a Diploma in any field
    - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical pre-sales role.
    - Proven experience in a customer-facing environment.
    - Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of customer personnel and identify and close new opportunities within existing accounts.
    - Strong logical thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
    - Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or above), required to liaise with clients, APAC offices, and headquarters in Japan.
    - Willingness to travel overseas to support customers with on-site project requirements

    （Advantageous)
    - Strong technical knowledge in the following IT infrastructure solutions will be a plus: Structured cabling, rack, UPS, wireless AP, Network, server, CCTV, door access, AV systems, server room
    - Strong business acumen with a keen interest in staying up to date with current and emerging technologies.
