Our client is a MAS licensed boutique investment management firm established in 2006. The Compliance & IT AVP is responsible for identifying the company's issues at an organizational level and participating in its business development by exercising compliance functions.
【What you will be working on】
- Keep abreast of compliance regulatory updates and keep internal policies and business activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Report directly to the senior management and have regular dialogue with the firm's Directors on compliance related issues.
- Actively involved in making management level decisions by providing professional compliance advisory and proposing real business solutions to management in dealing with changing regulatory & business environments in the global field.
- Liaise with the regulatory authorities, cater to clients' requirements in different markets, work under a dynamic environment and manage a broad spectrum of business & compliance such as AML/KYC, cross-border distribution, internal/external audit, etc.
- Have functional knowledge of IT infrastructure, Cyber Security and BCP.
- Oversee IT policy, process flow and IT management of the company.Benefit

【What you will be working on】
■Compliance matters
・Ensuring KYC and AML requirements for clients and company
・Monitoring and following up with existing MAS appointed representatives on their continuing obligations to complete surveys/forms/questionnaires requested/required by MAS
・Handling requests and queries from regulators/auditors
・Ensuring that all Compliance correspondences/records and registers are duly tracked and maintained
・Responding to all queries relating to Compliance
・Track and manage regulatory changes/new regulatory requirements
・Handle all internal audits and MAS inspections
・Updating of Compliance policies and procedures
・Provide compliance advice on MAS regulations
・Liaise and correspond with MAS
・Handle lodgment of returns and other requirements under Cayman Island applicable laws and regulation
・All other compliance matters including FATCA, CRS, etc.
・Ensure statutory and compliance issues are met.
