Job Description
Our client, a Japanese bank that is expanding its business within the ASEAN region is currently looking for an Officer who will be tasked with handling duties in the middle office.
【Responsibilities】
- Prepare and submit reports to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) accurately and within the required deadlines.
- Perform data entry and accuracy checks for reports to the Japan Head Office.
- Support the improvement and streamlining of MAS reporting processes.
- Maintain and update financial records.
- Assist in both internal and external audit processes.
- Handle middle-office operations, including KYC and screening.
- Provide support for other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Diploma in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in MAS reporting.
- Strong accounting knowledge, including journal entries, general ledger structure, and the composition of financial statements such as the profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
- Proficient in Excel functions (e.g., formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative without direct instructions.
- Capable of identifying issues independently and addressing them proactively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and regulatory documents.English Level
