    Our client is a global Japanese company specializing in chemicals and electronics. They are currently seeking to hire a Senior Sales Executive/Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience and creativity to deliver effective proposals to existing customers while driving new business development. Additionally, they will mentor junior colleagues, supporting their growth within the company.

    The Electronics Division primarily serves the Semiconductor and Electronics industries, and has recently begun expanding into the food and textile sectors. The division is further growing its presence across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia.

    Reports to: Sales Manager and Director

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Perform sales and prepare marketing materials for semiconductor and electronics-related manufacturers.
    - Maintain relationships with existing customers and supervise account management teams.
    - Develop and execute SEA region go-to-market plans based on market, customer, and competitive analysis.
    - Network proactively at industry events; represent our portfolio and gather insights.
    - Prepare monthly sales reports (actual, forecast, budget) for reporting to the head office.
    - Coach and guide junior colleagues
    - Take the initiative and be proactive in networking.

Qualifications

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
    - Minimum 6 - 8 years of strong B2B regional sales and business development experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment
    - At least 1 year of supervisory role (Assistant Sales Manager/Leader/Supervisor)
    - Willing to travel 1–2 times per quarter, mainly within Southeast Asia, and possess relevant regional experience.
    - Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills in English and Mandarin, able to engage and present effectively to diverse audiences.
    - Familiarity with the Southeast Asian market.

    (Advantageous)
    - Knowledge and understanding of semiconductor production processes, including functional materials or chemicals used.
    - Experience working with or knowledge of Japanese multinational companies.
    - Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication or electronics manufacturing materials, such as specialty glass substrates, ceramics for electronic components, photoresist materials, etching or cleaning chemicals, CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) slurries, and sputtering targets or related thin-film materials.
