    Our client is a Japanese freight forwarding company seeking a Sales Manager to join their team.

    You will report to the Managing Director.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Achieve and strive to exceed sales targets
    - Develop new business opportunities from both existing and prospective customer accounts
    - Manage and support complex negotiations with senior stakeholders
    - Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
    - Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients
    - Grow existing customer accounts by increasing trade volume
    - Conduct outreach to potential customers, including cold calling and client visits, and provide quotations and proposals
    - Respond to sales-related enquiries in a timely and professional manner
    - Prepare and maintain customer tariffs, quotations, and related documentation
    - Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management, including pipeline updates and quotation tracking
    - Lead the sales team and collaborate closely with operations, sales, and finance teams on billing and payment follow-ups

    【Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
    - At least 7 years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
    - At least 3 years of experience in a sales management role
    - Strong communication skills in English, for engagement with internal and external stakeholders
    - Willing to join in May 2026

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience working in Japanese companies or Japanese corporate environments
