  Our client, a Japanese trading company specializing in semiconductors, electronic components, and electronic equipment, is currently seeking an Accounting Executive (AP with Future AR Responsibilities) to take over the existing AP (Accounts Payable) function.
  
  The company is also considering integrating AR（Accounts Receivable）activities into the role in the future. Therefore, the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting fundamentals and be willing to expand their responsibilities beyond AP.
  
  As the company continues to receive more reporting requirements and requests from its parent company, the role requires someone who can look beyond routine accounting transactions and understand how their work contributes to the overall accounting process and financial statements.
  
  The successful candidate should be able to understand the purpose behind accounting transactions, rather than simply processing them, and demonstrate a proactive mindset towards developing broader accounting knowledge.
  
  
  Reporting to: Accounting Manager
  
  【 Responsibilities 】
  - Handle day-to-day AP（Accounts Payable）operations
  - Verify and process invoices and payments
  - Perform journal entries and data entry into the accounting system
  - Manage bank transactions and payment-related matters
  - Prepare and support various accounting reports
  - Handle requests and reporting requirements from the parent company
  - Support AR（Accounts Receivable）activities in the future
  - Assist with other accounting and finance-related tasks as required

  Closing and financial reporting experience is not mandatory. However, the successful candidate should have a good understanding of the overall accounting cycle and how daily accounting transactions are reflected in financial statements. A willingness to develop broader accounting knowledge, including month-end closing, is highly valued.
