    Our client, a well-established Japanese logistics company, is looking for a Japanese Speaking Business Development Executive to join their growing team in Singapore. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities for contract logistics and warehousing services, with a primary focus on B2B sales.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, digital prospecting, and market research.
    - Develop and execute structured sales strategies to build a healthy sales pipeline and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
    - Generate RFQs, RFPs, and tender opportunities across various industries including Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, Healthcare, Electronics, Automotive, and E-commerce.
    - Conduct customer meetings to understand business operations, supply chain challenges, and logistics requirements.
    - Evaluate business opportunities based on commercial feasibility and operational suitability.
    - Prepare and deliver logistics proposals, warehouse solutions, pricing models, and value propositions tailored to customer requirements.
    - Lead commercial negotiations and convert business opportunities into long-term profitable partnerships.
    - Conduct customer presentations, warehouse site visits, and solution discussions.
    - Achieve assigned KPIs for revenue, gross profit, and new customer acquisition.
    - Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities in the CRM system.
    - Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
    - Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Transport teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and implementation.
    - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop operationally feasible and cost-effective logistics solutions.
    - Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and ethical business practices.
    - Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
    - At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in Contract Logistics, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Warehousing, E-commerce Fulfilment, or Supply Chain Solutions.
    - Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
    - Business-level proficiency in both Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and English to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking customers, business partners, and internal stakeholders.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience in preparing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), tenders, and logistics solution proposals.
    - Knowledge of Singapore's logistics, warehousing, and transportation industry.
    - Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
    - Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
