Job Description
Our client is a Japanese manufacturing and distribution company specializing in semiconductors, electronic components, and energy-related products.
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth across assigned customer accounts while leading the India Sales Team. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, strengthening customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring smooth execution of sales operations. The incumbent will also prepare monthly sales forecasts, monitor revenue performance, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and business profitability.
Reports to Sales Director and Managing Director.
【Responsibilities】
- Lead, coach, and manage the India Sales Team to achieve sales objectives and business targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Understand customers' business needs and provide effective sales solutions to build long-term partnerships.
- Manage customer RFQs (Request for Quotation), review pricing, and approve quotations before submission.
- Handle customer enquiries, commercial negotiations, and issue resolution in a timely and professional manner.
- Review, negotiate, and manage Sales Contracts and Manufacturing Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Coordinate closely with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely order fulfilment.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Diploma in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of Sales/Business Development Manager experience handling the India market in the Trading sector (Semiconductor/Electronics)
- Proven leadership ability to handle around 10 subordinates
- Willing and in good condition to travel overseas frequently to meet customers or suppliers (1-2 times per month)
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in handling the India market and team, customers/suppliers
- Able to commence work immediately or within short notice
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially in Excel and PPT) for sales planning and presentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills, humble, cheerful, aggressive, and good working attitudeEnglish Level
