  • Job Description

    Our client is a Japanese bank in Singapore. They are currently seeking a Risk Management Officer / Assistant Manager to support the branch's risk management and governance functions.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Monitor and analyse credit, liquidity, market, operational, and other risk exposures of the branch
    - Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and gap analysis to support risk management activities
    - Support credit reviews, portfolio monitoring, and early warning account management
    - Prepare risk reports and management information for various risk committees
    - Monitor liquidity indicators, funding positions, and market risk metrics including VaR and interest rate risk
    - Perform regulatory gap analysis in relation to MAS Notices, Guidelines, and Circulars
    - Review internal controls, operational processes, and risk management frameworks
    - Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities and follow-up actions
    - Assist in the maintenance and review of risk management policies, procedures, and governance documents
    - Support responses to regulatory inquiries, internal audits, external audits, and Head Office requests
    - Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen risk governance and operational efficiency
    - Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
    - 1–5 years of experience in Risk Management or related functions within a financial institution, bank, audit firm, or similar environment
    - Experience in risk reporting, analysis, review, and documentation preparation
    - Basic understanding of credit, liquidity, market, and operational risk management
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

    (Preferably)
    - Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
    - Knowledge of MAS regulations and regulatory reporting requirements
