    Our client is a leading steel trading and manufacturing group with a strong presence across Asia. The Singapore office plays a key regional role in sourcing, trading, and distributing steel scrap and steel commodities, connecting suppliers and buyers across major Asian markets.

    We are currently looking for a Trader (Steel Commodities) to join their team!

    【Responsibilities】
    - Develop and expand steel scrap and steel commodities sourcing channels across Asia
    - Develop and grow sales channels for steel scrap and steel commodities across Asian markets
    - Negotiate, structure, and execute sourcing and sales contracts with regional counterparts
    - Manage end-to-end international trade operations, including documentation and logistics coordination
    - Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with suppliers, customers, and trading partners
    - Monitor market trends and support trading strategies to optimize business opportunities

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    (Must)
    - Possess a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma
    - Minimum 3-5 years of sourcing and/or sales experience in steel scrap commodities trading, with a strong existing network within the steel scrap industry, including suppliers, buyers, mills, or trading
    - Strong understanding of Asian steel commodities markets and international trading practices
    - Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
    - Willingness to travel internationally as and per when required

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience working with Asian steel mills, traders, or related industrial players will be highly preferred

    【What you will receive】
    - AWS (13-month bonus)
    - Variable Bonus (Based on performance)
    - Annual Leave: 7 days for the first year. From the 2nd year, 15 days per year, 1 day additional leave every 2 years, up to a maximum of 21 days.
    - Medical Leave: 14 days per year (applicable after completion of 6 months of service, in accordance with the Singapore Employment Act).
