Job Description
Our client is a Japanese manufacturer and distributor of electronic components. They are seeking an Outdoor Sales Manager/Assistant Manager to lead sales & business development activity, as well as sales operations and project management. This role will report to a Senior Manager/General Manager.
【Responsibilities】
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts by maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives and annual business plans.
Customer & Project Management
- Handle customer inquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and follow up on order confirmations.
- Lead contract discussions and participate in negotiations with customers.
- Review and ensure alignment of Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) prior to project implementation.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments (e.g., Production, Logistics, Finance, QA) to ensure smooth order processing and project execution.
- Address customer complaints or operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Operations & Reporting
- Oversee order management processes to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and provide analysis to Senior Management.
- Support Senior Manager / General Manager in strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop team members in alignment with company KPI & KGI.
- Set clear performance targets and monitor team performance.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
Requirement
【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B regional sales (SEA or Japan) within electronics components manufacturing or the industrial sector manufacturing
- At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and ERP systems (e.g., D365 or equivalent).
- Strong communication in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to travel for a business trip around Asia (1-2 times every 2 months)
- Able to join immediately or within short notice
