    Our Client is one of Asia’s leading coatings manufacturers with a strong presence across the region. They are currently looking for an Assistant/Lab Technologist.

    The Assistant/Laboratory Technologist supports Quality Assurance (QA) and laboratory testing activities to ensure raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods meet technical, quality, and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product reliability and compliance within the company's manufacturing operations.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Conduct sampling, inspection, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods according to specifications.
    - Receive, label, and store laboratory samples with appropriate safety and hazard information.
    - Review and verify incoming Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for compliance.
    - Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, and inventory of consumables.
    - Ensure accuracy, integrity, and traceability of laboratory test results.
    - Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration to validate testing results.
    - Identify, report, and document quality or safety non-conformances promptly.
    - Issue non-conformity reports to suppliers and follow up on corrective actions.
    - Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory).
    - Ensure compliance with QEHSMS, ISO standards, and workplace safety regulations.
    - Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and laboratory security standards.
    - Perform additional duties as assigned by the QA Manager.

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, or related disciplines.
    - Minimum 1–2 years of laboratory or QA experience in paints, coatings, or chemical manufacturing
    - Inexperienced candidates with relevant Diploma and high interest in joining paints and coatings industry are welcome to apply.
    - Knowledge of laboratory equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
    - Understanding of QEHSMS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and chemical safety practices.
    - Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

    (Advantageous)
    - Hands-on experience in paint, coatings, or raw material testing is preferred.
    - Familiarity with international testing standards (ASTM, ISO, BS, etc.) is an advantage.
