  • Job Description

    Our client is a reputable Japanese manufacturing company serving primarily the electronics market. They are seeking a Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team and support ongoing business development and operational coordination activities.

    Reporting Structure: Coordinating & Shipping → Sales & Marketing → Managing Director / Director

    【 Responsibilities 】

    1) Sales & Marketing
    - Prepare and manage sales budgets, including the mid-term “Sanshin” plan, to support business expansion.
    - Drive and monitor sales performance to achieve growth targets.
    - Plan and oversee sales and marketing activities, and evaluate customer performance.
    - Manage supplier relationships and assess performance.
    - Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and support market entry initiatives.
    - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitive movements.
    - Liaise with customers and suppliers to align on market demand and product developments.
    - Formulate and implement strategies to achieve the mid-term budget and “Sanshin” plan objectives.

    2) Coordinating & Shipping
    - Manage the entire sales transaction process, from receiving purchase orders to delivery.
    - Coordinate with factories and suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
    - Oversee outsourced warehousing and transportation partners.
    - Handle import and export arrangements, including inventory and stock control.
    - Monitor order management accuracy and ensure smooth logistics operations.

    3) Administrative and Operational Controls
    - Ensure compliance with company policies related to:
    - Quotation terms and conditions

    4) Product specifications
    - Sales and purchase agreements
    - Payment and receipt procedures

    5) Meetings and Reporting
    - Weekly Meetings: Share updates on tasks, customer and supplier information, and coordination matters.
    - Monthly Meetings: Review sales results, update the “Sanshin” plan, and address issues through Ho-Ren-So (Report, Inform, Consult) methodology.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing.
    - Proficiency in English and Mandarin, as the role requires communication with regional counterparts.
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    - Able to commence work at short notice.
    - Willing to travel for business to Batam, Jakarta, Johor Bahru, and Kuala Lumpur (approximately once or twice a month).

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience in the electronics or automotive industry.
    - Prior experience working in a Japanese company environment.
