    Our client is a Japan-based IT consulting firm, specializing in system infrastructure and database security. They are currently looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) with main roles and responsibilities for implementation, configuration and providing database support.

    【What you will be working on】
    - Understand business and user needs and requirements.
    - Identify common database/SQL performance problems to optimize database/SQL performance and solve these issues independently or with the team.
    - Communicate regularly with technical and applications staff to ensure database integrity and security.
    - Provide maintenance of corporate databases including backup, database optimizing, re-indexing, initiating recovery procedures and routine troubleshooting.
    - Create and maintain database documentation that records modifications and developments carried out on databases.

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Diploma of Science in Information Systems or related major or related work experience.
    - Between 1-6 years of business technology experience or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
    - Must have Physical Design experience, not Table Design（Logical Design ) in Oracle.
    - Oracle, Engineered Systems Knowledge, Oracle VM, OEM, Golden Gate.
    - Prior database administration experience with basic knowledge in Oracle Database or MS SQL Server.
    - Basic Knowledge of setting and tuning one or more OS platforms is required. (E.g. Linux, Windows, Solaris, AIX and other UNIXs.)
    - Knowledge of other databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or DB2 is advantageous.
    - Knowledge of Python and Shell is advantageous.
    - Experience with databases surrounding functions such as monitoring and backup tool (i.e. Oracle Enterprise Manager, Recovery Manager, Zabbix, NetBackup and so on) is an advantage.
    - Knowledge of Oracle Appliance products, such as Exadata, Oracle Cloud Machine, Oracle Database Appliance, and Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliances is advantageous.
