• Job Description

  Our client is a Japan-based IT consulting firm specialising in system infrastructure and database security. They are currently seeking a Software Developer to support and lead project activities across different phases of the system development lifecycle.
  
  【Responsibilities】
  - Gather, analyze, and formalize user business requirements and processes; evaluate feasibility of implementation and manage project scope.
  - Prepare project documentation, including requirement specifications, to ensure alignment with customer requirements and compliance with quality management standards and procedures, minimizing rework.
  - Adhere to defined project scope, maintain the requirement traceability matrix, and document any out-of-scope requirements.
  - Develop technical design specifications and participate in design review sessions.
  - Set up and manage configurable components, including hardware, servers, software, and documentation.
  - Participate in application development, coding, and code review activities.
  - Support integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
  - Prepare user manuals and operations manuals, and support training sessions for users and operators.
  - Provide post-implementation support, including production support and handling of service requests.
  - Identify and escalate critical issues such as scope changes to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  - Conduct requirement gathering sessions and perform gap analysis of existing business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  - Communicate clearly and proactively with customers regarding project updates, issues, and clarifications.
  - Track project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
  - Resolve issues promptly and provide effective solutions.
  - Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned in a timely manner.
