Our client, a market leader in technology solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Development Manager to lead its engineering division. You will oversee software/firmware development activities, guide engineering teams, and drive project excellence.Reporting To: You will report directly to General Management, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, resource planning, and performance metrics.【Responsibilities】1) Project & Task Management- Oversee the planning and timely execution of development projects and tasks within scope, budget, and schedule.- Prepare project plans, facilitate agile processes, assign resources, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvements.2) Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD)- Ensure development activities achieve high quality standards, optimized costs, and timely delivery.3) Technical Leadership- Provide guidance on software architecture, algorithms, system design, and engineering best practices.- Review technical documents and code; support technical decision-making and make final decisions when required.4) Collaboration & Coordination- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives.5) Process & Quality Improvement- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, establish engineering standards, and ensure adherence to coding and documentation practices.- Track KPIs, promote best practices, and enhance product quality, security, and performance.6) Budget & Resource Management- Manage the department’s budget, optimize resource allocation, and monitor costs while maintaining productivity and quality.
