Our client, a well-known Japanese trading company, is currently looking for an Officer/Senior Officer/Executive for the Metals & Minerals (M&M) department under the Steel Making Resources Section.Department: Metal & Minerals DepartmentReports to: Section Manager【Responsibilities】- Prepare, monitor, and verify all shipping documents from suppliers. Send accurate shipping instructions and the complete set of documents to relevant parties promptly. Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of all documentation.- Arrange timely payments to suppliers and monitor customer receivables. Track credit line requirements, facilitate applications, and escalate potential issues to management as needed.– Manage internal systems (e.g., SAP, NNFS) to record all transaction data. Input accurate monthly closing entries and provide shipping documentation to the accounting team for profit and loss management.- Act as the primary liaison with customers, suppliers, and shipping companies. Proactively remind stakeholders of deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents, both verbally and in writing.- Assist the Operations Manager and Traders in contract negotiations, dispatch arrangements, and demurrage negotiations to achieve timely and effective settlements.
