Our client is a Japanese construction company seeking a Sales Engineer to manage project sales and client relationships within the construction and engineering sector.Reporting To: Managing Director / Director【 Responsibilities 】- Liaise and communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.- Identify and evaluate tender opportunities from both public and private sectors.- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documents, and contracts based on project requirements, ensuring submissions are compliant and competitive.- Respond to sales inquiries and maintain long-term partnerships with clients and contractors.- Deliver technical presentations, provide engineered design solutions, and conduct demonstrations; understand customer requirements and propose appropriate, cost-effective solutions.- Participate in commercial negotiations, including contract terms, pricing, and project scope, for potential and ongoing projects.- Coordinate with Technical and Operations teams to develop technical solutions and strategies for client applications.- Serve as the central liaison between internal departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure seamless project execution.- Engage with relevant stakeholders at all levels to ensure efficient resource utilization and smooth project execution.- Manage awarded projects, especially commercial-related issues, and follow up closely from inception to completion to ensure timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
