Our client is the market leader in semiconductor test systems and equipment.
They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax & Finance Analyst to join the regional finance team. This is an individual contributor role responsible for overseeing tax compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory requirements across the assigned region.
The successful candidate will serve as the key finance and tax specialist, working closely with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax agents, and the global accounting team to ensure compliance with local regulations and Group policies. This role requires a hands-on professional who can independently manage multiple responsibilities while driving process improvements and supporting business operations.
【Responsibilities】
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Group reporting requirements, and local statutory regulations.
- Prepare and submit local statutory financial statements and related regulatory filings within stipulated deadlines.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and review financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
2. Tax Compliance & Advisory
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and other tax-related statutory submissions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyze tax-related matters and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Coordinate and support tax audits, inquiries, and engagements with external tax authorities and advisors.
- Identify tax risks in business transactions and guide stakeholders on tax implications.
3. Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Lead the preparation of regional budgets on a semi-annual basis.
- Monitor monthly actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis and management insights.
- Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business decision-making and management reviews.
- Support local statutory audits by providing required schedules, analyses, and documentation.
4. Stakeholder Management & Process Improvement
- Act as the key finance and tax contact for regional business operations.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and the global accounting team to support business initiatives and transactions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen financial controls, tax compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct training and provide guidance on finance and tax-related matters to internal stakeholders.
- Manage regional General Ledger (GL) support activities.
5. Projects & Ad-Hoc Assignments
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and regional projects.
- Support management with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special assignments as required.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Tax & Finance Analyst in global settings, MNC/semiconductor industry
- Experience handling statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial analysis independently.
- Experience working with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally with Oracle
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders
- Able to work independently as the sole contributor responsible for finance and tax activities within the assigned scope.

- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.英文
