    Our client, a Japanese accounting firm, is seeking a Secretarial Coordinator to act as a key liaison between clients and the internal Corporate Secretarial team (led by a qualified Chartered Secretary). The role involves coordinating corporate secretarial matters, including Know-Your-Client (KYC) procedures, document collection, drafting and reviewing documents, and supporting statutory compliance and bank account openings for assigned clients.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    1) Client Communication
    - Serve as the primary point of contact for secretarial and administrative matters.
    - Explain requirements and processes clearly to clients.

    2) Document Production & Review
    - Draft relevant documents and correspondence.
    - Review complex documents prepared by the internal Chartered Secretary for accuracy and completeness.

    3) Compliance & Onboarding
    - Conduct KYC and Due Diligence checks.
    - Collect and verify required identity and company documents.

    4) Banking Support
    - Coordinate bank account opening procedures.
    - Guide clients through bank requirements and documentation.

    5) Workflow Management
    - Ensure statutory filings and client instructions are executed accurately and on time.
    - Maintain proper documentation and workflow in internal systems.

    【 Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Relevant experience in handling legal documents, contracts, or administrative compliance (e.g., Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar roles).
    - Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1) to communicate effectively with Japanese clients.
    - Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
    - Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and self-discipline.
    - Able to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively in a small team.

    (Advantageous)
    - Relevant qualifications (e.g., Law degree).
    - Knowledge or experience in Corporate Law (Singapore or Japan).
    - Experience in banking compliance or corporate secretarial firms.
