This role serves as a communication bridge between the Japan headquarters, overseas offices, game development teams, and external stakeholders.Reporting to: PR & Marketing Manager【 Responsibilities 】- Provide accurate, real-time consecutive interpretation (Japanese and English) during virtual and onsite media interviews between gaming journalists and Japan-based development and marketing teams.- Accurately interpret and translate gaming terminology, technical concepts, and creative design discussions while preserving the intended meaning and context.- Review media questionnaires before and after interview sessions, and work closely with the PR & Marketing Manager to brief development teams on interview flow and regional media context where required.- Review regional media coverage following interviews to ensure technical information and development insights are accurately represented.- Maintain an internal glossary of approved Japanese and English gaming terminology, character names, and UI terminology to ensure consistency across live interpretation sessions and marketing materials.- Translate, proofread, and review internal and external game-related documents, marketing materials, and PR assets in both Japanese and English to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.- Provide day-to-day operational support for regional marketing activities, business development initiatives, and cross-functional projects.- Support visiting colleagues from the Japan headquarters and development teams by coordinating logistics and facilitating effective communication during business visits.- Provide event support during local and regional gaming exhibitions, media events, and promotional activities, including onsite interpretation where required.- Be willing to work on weekends during peak event periods and travel overseas for regional gaming events and conventions when required.- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support the regional team.
