Job Description
Our client, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking to hire a Medical Representative to develop strong customer relationships, execute marketing strategies, provide timely product updates, and achieve sales targets.
This role requires a proactive and results-oriented approach, along with strong product knowledge and understanding of the business environment to achieve consistent sales growth while upholding regulatory and ethical compliance.
You will be reporting to the Manager.
【 Responsibilities 】
1) Sales & Promotion
- Promote and detail products to doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Execute sales strategies and achieve or exceed territory sales targets by developing business opportunities with existing and potential stakeholders.
- Increase product market share within assigned sales territories through effective sales and relationship-building activities.
- Co-conduct and support the Product Manager in delivering effective product presentations, CMEs, RTDs, and sales activities aligned with marketing strategies.
- Analyse and update territory changes, HCP/KOL/stakeholder data, and prescriber behaviour on a regular basis.
- Submit timely reports on sales activities, territory performance, and market updates as required by the company.
- Prepare sales forecasts and execute territory plans to achieve business objectives.
2) Reporting & Compliance
- Submit timely sales activity reports and customer visit documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits and sales activities.
- Ensure all sales and promotional activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Ensure all market adverse event (AE) reports are appropriately documented and communicated to the relevant Pharmacovigilance (PV) Manager in a timely manner.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Diploma in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical sales or the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage regulatory documentation.
- Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel regularly within Singapore to meet business requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
(Advantageous)
- Experience in institutional pharmaceutical sales would be advantageous.
- Experience working in a multinational pharmaceutical company would be advantageous.English Level
