Job Description
Our client, a leading IT company, is seeking a professional to support the Regional Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) in planning and executing business strategies across the APAC region (Asia and Oceania). This role helps drive business growth by supporting new IT business initiatives, strategic partnerships, and M&A activities, while coordinating closely with stakeholders in Japan and regional offices.
【 Responsibilities 】
1) Regional Strategy Formulation & Execution Support
- Support the development and execution of mid-term management plans and regional business strategies across the APAC region.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to identify business expansion and growth opportunities.
2) Strategic Partnership Development
- Build, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances with telecommunications carriers, IT vendors, and startup partners across multiple countries.
- Strengthen regional partnerships to enhance market presence and business capabilities.
3) M&A and Investment Project Support
- Support end-to-end M&A and investment activities, including target sourcing, due diligence, contract negotiation, and post-merger integration (PMI).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners throughout project execution.
- Corporate Reporting & Executive Communication
- Prepare high-quality reports, analysis, and presentation materials for senior management and Global Headquarters (Japan).
- Facilitate strategic decision-making through clear reporting and effective communication.
Qualifications
Requirement
【 Requirement & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, business planning, or new business development within a corporate environment, or experience in solution proposal development or project management within the IT or telecommunications industry
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to prepare clear business documentation and reports
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) is required, as this role involves regular communication with stakeholders in Japan and across regional teams

- Experience working in a consulting environment (e.g., strategy, business transformation, or management consulting)
- Exposure to M&A transactions, business alliances, or capital partnership initiatives
- Knowledge of the telecommunications and IT industries, including market trends and business practicesEnglish Level
