• Job Description

  Our client, a listed Japanese financial company, is currently seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to lead and manage a team responsible for relationship management of Japanese multinational corporate clients, ensuring high service standards and sustainable business growth.
  
  Reporting to: Japanese Manager
  
  【 Responsibilities 】
  - Develop and execute strategies to deepen relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities, with a focus on portfolio growth and profitability.
  - Oversee credit risk analysis, preparation of credit proposals, documentation, and the setup of credit facilities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  - Drive the execution of complex transactions by coordinating closely with product specialists, risk, and operations teams to deliver seamless end-to-end financial solutions.
  - Act as a key liaison with relevant stakeholders, including overseas branches, particularly Japan, Head Office, and internal departments, to facilitate the delivery of integrated global financial solutions.
  - Lead client acquisition and marketing initiatives through a consultative and proposal-based approach, leveraging the bank’s network and product offerings to address client requirements.
  - Provide strategic oversight of portfolio planning, account management, and sector P&L, ensuring alignment with the bank’s business objectives.
  - Review and approve various supplementary information sheets attached to credit applications, such as facility rating statements and credit supervision notification memos.
  - Supervise and support the completion of operational and compliance-related tasks, including KYC/CDD screening, processing of AFA and Mobius waivers, and timely responses to client enquiries relating to services such as remittances, foreign exchange, and time deposits.
  - Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  - Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging business opportunities relevant to the Japanese corporate sector.
