  • Job Description

    Our client, a leading Japanese IT consulting firm, is seeking an experienced EUC Manager / Assistant Manager (Japanese Speaking) to lead and support the development and maintenance of End User Computing (EUC) solutions for banking-sector IT consulting projects.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Develop, enhance, and maintain EUC tools primarily using Microsoft Access and Excel.
    - Design, develop, and maintain systems using SSIS, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripts, SQL Server, and general database technologies on Windows Server.
    - Manage the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a Waterfall environment.
    - Lead and supervise a team of 3–4 engineers, while also contributing hands-on to project deliverables when required.
    - Act as the key interface with stakeholders, primarily the Bank IT Department.
    - Communicate effectively with end users, translating technical concepts into clear and practical explanations.

Qualifications

    【 Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Bachelor’s degree in any field.
    - Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT consulting and/or banking-related IT projects.
    - Ability to communicate effectively in English and Japanese at a business level (JLPT N1), as the role involves regular interaction with Japanese stakeholders and clients.
    - Prior consulting experience within an established consulting firm.
    - Hands-on experience working with banking IT departments and banking-related systems or projects.
    - Proven experience managing end-to-end SDLC using a Waterfall methodology.
    - Strong technical experience in database and server-related technologies, including SSIS, Stored Procedures, PowerShell scripting, SQL Server, and Windows Server.
    - Team leadership experience with a proactive and collaborative communication approach.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience with Microsoft Access VBA (forms, queries, modules, tables, reports, and macros).
    - Development experience using .NET or C#.
