Job Description
Our client is a Japanese manufacturer of electronic products.
We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer (LV VSD) to join our Low Voltage Inverter/Drives department. This role is not within our Semiconductor business segment. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our customer base, driving sales growth, and supporting market penetration strategies across Southeast Asia and Bangladesh.
We are open to training candidates who may not have direct experience with our products, provided they demonstrate strong motivation, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Department: Low Voltage Inverter / Drives
Reports to: Sales Manager
Travel: Required across Southeast Asia and Bangladesh
【Responsibilities】
- Expand existing accounts and develop a new customer base to achieve sales targets for Drive & Automation products in Southeast Asia and Bangladesh.
- Implement sales strategies to increase market share and business opportunities.
- Actively engage with customers to understand needs, provide technical recommendations, and propose tailored solutions.
- Prepare tender bids, issue quotations, and manage the sales process from proposal through to closure.
- Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, track sales progress, and report regularly to the Sales Manager.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, including seminars and exhibitions, to promote products and solutions.
- Travel frequently across Southeast Asia and Bangladesh for business needs.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of B2B regional sales/servicing experience in a similar industry (VSD, industrial automation, power systems, motors)
- Hands-on or technical knowledge of Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives
- Good presentation & negotiation skills in English
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for business across Southeast Asia and Bangladesh (Once per month, and will gradually increase as per business needs and experience)
- Willingness to do 100% hunting sales for the SEA region
- Self-starter, independent, and positive working attitude

- Experience in doing 100% hunting sales for the SEA region
- Experience targeting the Infrastructure, Building, and Industrial sectors
- Working experience in Japanese companiesEnglish Level
