  • Job Description

    Our client, a well-established Japanese company renowned for its innovative small electric motors and motion control systems, is seeking a Customer & Technical Engineer. This role involves supporting indoor sales activities by understanding the company’s products and effectively liaising with customers.

    Department: Sales/Engineering

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Support indoor sales activities by understanding customer needs and providing solutions.
    - Handle customer inquiries and recommend solutions based on their requirements.
    - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
    - Identify and develop potential new customers.
    - Learn the AC/BL/ST/ACT product knowledge (Product categories, like AC motor, BL motor) to support the sales activities
    - Provide Technical seminars for local & overseas customers
    - Handle customer's technical inquiries, field service & setup support
    - Provide network setup support to customers

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - NITEC/Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineer
    - At least 1 year of indoor sales/customer relation experience in the Electrical Engineering field
    - Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
    - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    - Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently for day-to-day liaising with English and Mandarin-speaking customers
    - Willingness to learn technical content is required (especially product knowledge)
    - Willingness to visit client, if required

    (Advantageous)
    - Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineer
    - Experience in handling products such as AC motors, and BL motors would be ideal
    - Understanding AZ network products together with PLC would be advantageous!
    - Experience working in Japanese company
