Our client, a leading Japanese manufacturing company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Chiller) to support chiller maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning activities【 Responsibilities 】- Schedule maintenance activities for chiller systems and monitor maintenance works, including necessary follow-up actions.- Ensure all maintenance works are carried out according to prescribed checklists and schedules.- Conduct testing, commissioning and fine-tuning of new chillers, including coordinating project execution at site, witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and conducting Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure chillers operate according to targeted performance requirements.- Interpret as-built documents, schematic drawings and technical documents, as well as analyse operating data from chillers to identify and rectify technical issues.- Manage on-site chiller overhaul and repair works, including supervising subcontractors and monitoring service quality and work progress.- Prepare service reports for each service assignment.- Address customer service concerns by providing prompt and effective technical solutions for chiller-related issues and recommending appropriate preventive measures.- Prepare risk assessments prior to service and repair activities and ensure compliance with relevant safety procedures.- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable workplace safety procedures.- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
