Our client is a well-established Japanese financial services company. They are seeking a Head of Acquiring (Payments Industry) to drive the expansion and management of strategic acquiring partnerships in Singapore.
The successful candidate will leverage their expertise within Singapore's payments ecosystem to strengthen relationships with acquiring partners, identify new business opportunities, and support the company's continued business growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced payments professionals looking to advance their career within a global payment organization.
Reporting Line: Managing Director
【Responsibilities】
- Develop and maintain relationships with acquiring partners, banks, and key stakeholders within the payments ecosystem.
- Drive business growth through collaboration with local acquiring banks and payment partners.
- Identify new acquiring opportunities and support business development initiatives.
- Manage and expand strategic partnerships with financial institutions and payment service providers.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities within the payments sector.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support acquiring-related projects and initiatives.
- Represent the company in meetings, industry events, and discussions with external partners.
- Prepare business reports, presentations, and market analyses for management.

任职资格
【Requirement & Preferences】
(Must)
- Minimum diploma in business, finance, banking, economics, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the payments industry, banking industry, or payment-related organizations in Singapore (e.g., OCBC, UOB, DBS, NETS), with hands-on experience in acquiring business, merchant acquiring, partnership management, or business development.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of acquiring business operations and payment card ecosystems.
- Existing network and relationships with local banks and payment industry stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
(Advantageous)
- Direct experience with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express in acquiring, merchant acquiring, or partnership roles.英文
