    Our client is a Japanese architecture and consulting company seeking a Computational Design & Generative AI (Architectural Designer) to support architectural design, digital delivery, and the development of AI-enabled design workflows.

    The team aims to integrate BIM, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies into project delivery from the outset. Its approach focuses on progressing from traditional delivery to AI-assisted and ultimately AI-native delivery, with architecture as the foundation, digital capabilities as an enabler, and business value as the outcome.

    This role is suited to professionals with backgrounds in architectural design, computational design, or design technology who can connect architectural design, computational thinking, BIM, data, and Generative AI to deliver practical, coordinated, and buildable project outcomes.

    Beyond design visualisation, you will contribute to live architectural projects while developing practical digital workflows that support design exploration, model development, analysis, documentation, and informed decision-making.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Contribute to architectural concept design, design development, multidisciplinary coordination, documentation, and project delivery.
    - Manage assigned architectural design or design-technology work packages under the guidance of the Project Architect or Digital Delivery Lead.
    - Develop computational and generative design approaches to support design optioneering, analysis, data-driven design, and the automation of repetitive production tasks.
    - Develop integrated workflows connecting Autodesk Revit, BIM, Rhino, Grasshopper, data processing, automation, and Generative AI.
    - Apply Generative AI tools to design ideation, analysis, visual communication, documentation, and decision support where they provide practical value.
    - Translate computational and AI-assisted design outputs into buildable, coordinated architectural information.
    - Automate repetitive design, documentation, reporting, and project communication tasks to improve efficiency and consistency.
    - Prototype and test AI-enabled and agentic workflows on live projects, evaluate their practical value, and document successful approaches as reusable workflows and playbooks.
    - Collaborate with the BIM-focused Architectural Designer to maintain effective information flow between architectural design, computational processes, and BIM deliverables.
    - Support project teams in adopting new digital capabilities and identifying opportunities to develop differentiated client solutions and advisory services.
    - Progressively participate in client, consultant, contractor, and site-related activities, including presenting design proposals and digital workflow recommendations.

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification, with a portfolio demonstrating architectural design capability and an understanding of project delivery.
    - Relevant experience in architectural design, computational design, or digital design, with approximately 3–5 years of experience preferred. Candidates with different levels of experience may also be considered based on their skills and portfolio.
    - Experience contributing to architectural design development and coordinated project delivery across multiple project stages.
    - Strong proficiency in Rhino and Grasshopper, or comparable computational design platforms.
    - Working knowledge of BIM processes and software, preferably Autodesk Revit, with the ability to contribute to architectural documentation.
    - Practical experience using Generative AI tools in design-related or digital workflows.
    - Ability to integrate multiple software tools and data sources to develop connected workflows.
    - Strong design judgement, an experimental mindset, and the ability to translate prototypes into practical project applications.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience across the full BIM lifecycle, from design development through coordination, documentation, and delivery.
    - Knowledge of Python, Dynamo, APIs, scripting, data processing, or workflow automation.
    - Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
    - Experience with real-time rendering, Adobe Creative Suite, or AI-assisted visual communication.
    - Experience translating computational design outputs into BIM models and construction documentation.
    - Exposure to renovation, Addition and Alteration (A&A), adaptive reuse, conversion, or sustainability-related projects.
    - Experience with generative design, environmental analysis, design optimisation, data-driven design, or agentic AI workflows.
