They are looking for a Commodity Manager.As the Commodity Manager – OEM Systems, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic sourcing and supplier management strategy for OEM systems, including workstations, manipulators, and thermal management (cooling) solutions.This role combines strategic commodity management with supplier relationship management, ensuring a resilient, cost-effective, and scalable supply chain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Quality, and Operations to optimize supplier performance, manage commercial agreements, and align sourcing strategies with business growth and technology roadmaps.【Responsibilities】Commodity Strategy- Develop and execute long-term commodity strategies for OEM systems.- Manage the supplier lifecycle, including supplier selection, qualification, development, and exit strategies.- Ensure an optimal supplier portfolio that balances cost, quality, capacity, and risk.Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Management- Define sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.- Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, lead times, contractual terms, capacity commitments, and cost optimization.- Identify opportunities to improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).Supplier Relationship Management- Build and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers.- Drive supplier development initiatives and ensure alignment with Advantest's long-term business goals.- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans where necessary.Supply Chain & Capacity Planning- Develop mid- and long-term capacity strategies to support business growth.- Manage supplier allocation and capacity planning to ensure business continuity.- Reduce supply risks through multiple sourcing strategies and supplier diversification.Risk & Performance Management- Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks.- Establish supplier performance management processes and drive corrective actions when required.- Track and improve supplier KPIs, including: On-Time Delivery (OTD), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Cost Stability, Quality Performance, Cost Reduction InitiativesCross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with R&D, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align supplier capabilities with future technology and product requirements.- Support new product introductions and technology roadmaps from a sourcing perspective.Continuous Improvement- Lead continuous improvement and innovation initiatives with strategic suppliers.- Foster collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence across the supplier network.
