Job Description
Our client is a Japan-based company specializing in Lifeboat, Davit, Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE), and Life-Saving Appliance (LSA) inspections. They are seeking a Service Engineer (Lifeboat) to perform inspection, maintenance, and certification of lifeboats, ensuring safety and compliance with international maritime standards.Reporting To: Department Manager – Lifeboat【 Responsibilities 】- Handle Lifeboat and davits servicing, operational and workshop matters- Conduct commissioning, installation, and sea trials for new lifeboats.- Perform annual & five-yearly services for all types of LIFEBOATS, RESCUE BOATS & LAUNCHING APPLIANCES.- Provide customers with technical support and a high level of service.- Overseas service jobs and intensive travel overseas.- Responsible for Developing safety plans, implementation & certification of Jobs carried out on lifeboats.- Assist in servicing liferafts and firefighting equipment (FFE) when required.
