• Job Description

  Our client, a Japanese engineering company specialising in marine engine component repair and reconditioning, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee its accounting and finance operations in Singapore.
  
  【 Responsibilities 】
  - Manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), fixed assets, and month-end closing.
  - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  - Manage cash flow and perform financial analysis.
  - Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate GST submissions, tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting.
  - Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other service providers.
  - Monitor receivables, payables, and payment schedules.
  - Maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
  - Prepare management reports and financial updates for local management and the headquarters in Japan.
  - Support cost control, profitability analysis, and business planning.
  - Supervise and guide accounting staff, where applicable.
  - Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
