    Our client is a Japanese-listed consulting firm that supports well-established financial institution with a strong presence in the region. They are currently looking for a Project Manager / PMO to join their team and support an end-to-end operational workflow improvement project within the banking environment.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Manage and support the end-to-end operational workflow improvement project as part of the user-side PM/PMO team.
    - Communicate and coordinate with project stakeholders, including Business Analysts, branch users, IT teams, external vendors, and HQ teams.
    - Gather relevant information, clarify business and system requirements, review applicable regulations, and coordinate system-related tasks.
    - Monitor and manage project progress, action items, change requests, issues, risks, and outstanding tasks.
    - Prepare project status reports and updates for the Team Leader and management.
    - Maintain project management documentation, including issue trackers, task/action-item trackers, project timelines, meeting minutes, and status reports.
    - Follow up on persistent issues and outstanding tasks and work closely with relevant teams to facilitate timely resolution.
    - Support effective communication and coordination among business users, IT teams, vendors, and others

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
    - At least 5 years of working experience in banking or a related field.
    - At least 3 years of experience in managing or supporting system implementation projects as a Project Manager / PMO, preferably within the banking industry.
    - Strong project management and documentation skills, including issue management/tracking, action-item management, progress/status tracking, project timelines, and meeting minutes.
    - Good communication/negotiation skill to liaise with the users, IT team, external vendor and HQ team regarding inquiries, issues, etc. to promote the project smoothly.

    (Advantageous)
    - Professional certification related to project management, such as PMP.
    - Experience working in a user-side PM/PMO capacity within a financial institution.
