Job Description
Our client is a well-established Japanese restaurant chain expanding into Singapore. They are seeking passionate individuals to join their founding team and play a key role in launching their first outlet in Singapore while growing with the business.
【Responsibilities】
Store Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
- Support new outlet openings, including pre-opening preparations.
- Monitor sales, profitability, and operational KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and prepare management reports.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, coach, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and manpower planning.
- Foster a positive team culture and support employee development.
Customer Service
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
- Implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Manage inventory, stock ordering, and cost control to minimize wastage and improve profitability.
Food Safety & Quality
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Conduct regular operational and hygiene inspections.
Business Expansion
- Support new store openings and multi-outlet operations.
- Collaborate with management to improve operational processes and business performance.
Qualifications
Requirement
【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the F&B industry
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial role (e.g. Restaurant Manager, Outlet Manager, or Outlet Supervisor).
- Experience in staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and team management.
- Able to communicate in Japanese (JLPT N3 or equivalent proficiency) to liaise with the Japan headquarters and support business communication.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
(Advantageous)
- Experience supporting new restaurant openings.
- Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 3 certification.
- Experience managing multiple outlets.English Level
