Job Description
Our client is a prominent Japanese regional bank with a strong presence across Asia. They are currently seeking an Associate – Sales & Client Support (Japanese Speaking) to provide administrative and operational support to the investment team. This role is responsible for managing company expenses, coordinating client-related matters, and supporting various sales and investment activities. The primary focus of the position is on Sales & Client Support functions.
This role reports to the Section Head.
【 Responsibilities 】
1) Sales and Clients Support
- Supporting overseas expansion of our Banks’ customers
- Planning and organizing sales events and matching businesses for promoting our bank's customers’ products and services
- Supporting our Banks' customers to promote their products in the cross-border EC mall
- Conducting research on industry trends, market activities and competitors of our Banks’ customers’ products and services
- Sourcing and maintaining relationship with local experts/vendors
- Extending loan sales to more of our banks' customers and negotiating loan-related matters.
- Preparing minutes and reports
- Supporting various departments' tasks
2) Investment Team
- Acquiring, gathering and providing information on new investment and financing products
- Support for due diligence on credit funds, real estate funds and PE funds
- Support for surveys related to properties for investment or loan
- Expansion of local institutional investor network
- General local support for our central Bank's investments and loans
- Preparing minutes and reports
- Supporting various departments' tasks
Qualifications
Requirement
【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Diploma in any discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing, client servicing, account support, or stakeholder coordination role
- Proficient in both Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and English to communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and support business operations
- Experience working in a Japanese business environment or supporting Japanese-speaking stakeholders
(Advantageous)
- Experience in administrative or operational support functions
- Exposure to accounting, finance, or banking-related functions
- Basic understanding of investment and loan-related processes, including the preparation of meeting minutes, reports, and supporting documentation
- Experience in event coordination, event management, or business networking activities
- Experience conducting market research, industry research, or competitor analysis
- Knowledge of, or experience supporting, overseas business development or business expansion initiativesEnglish Level
