Our client is a Japanese construction company. The role of QA/QC Engineer (Steel Structure) is responsible for ensuring that all steel structure fabrication and installation activities comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and specific project specifications.This position reports to the Steel Structure Project Manager.【 Responsibilities 】- Ensure all steel fabrication and installation works meet quality standards, industry regulations, and project specifications.- Conduct on-site inspections for received materials.- Develop and implement quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements for steel structural works.- Verify that welding, coating, and fireproofing processes comply with technical requirements.- Monitor site activities to ensure alignment with approved plans and specifications.- Collaborate with factories, operations teams, clients, and stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and complaints.- Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA/QC activities, including material certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection reports, NCRs, site instructions, and delivery records.- Ensure effective implementation and ongoing maintenance of internal quality control systems.
