Our client is in the Japanese F&B industry and is seeking a Cook to join their team.【 Responsibilities 】- Handle a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients.- Bake, grill, steam, and deep-fry meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other food items.- Prepare ingredients for menu items and ensure adequate quantities to minimise wastage.- Ensure food portions and presentation meet the company's standards.- Ensure all ingredients and finished products are fresh.- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as required.- Pack and label sashimi products.- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including utensils, equipment, and dishes.- Handle and store ingredients and food at the appropriate temperatures to prevent spoilage.- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.- Monitor and guide junior team members to ensure quality workmanship and performance.- Deliver excellent customer service by welcoming and acknowledging customers throughout their dining experience in an open-concept restaurant environment.- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef.
