    Our client is one of the largest Japanese contractors. The Assistant Manager (Design) – Mechanical & Electrical is responsible for managing and executing MEP design and supervision activities for building projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with client requirements. This role reports to the Head of Department (HOD).

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Execute design and supervision work for commissioned projects in line with construction quality assurance systems, guiding design staff to produce documents that meet client requirements.
    - Consolidate project information, report to MEP and Technical & Construction departments, and support problem-solving to achieve project outcomes.
    - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance design technologies and apply them effectively in projects.
    - Review existing processes to identify solutions for work execution challenges.
    - Coordinate and engage with stakeholders through continuous dialogue, understanding their positions and perspectives.
    - Develop execution plans based on HOD policies and strategies, lead their implementation, and contribute to achieving departmental objectives.
    - Conduct site surveys and consolidate critical information for effective project planning and team communication.
    - Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP services in line with project specifications.
    - Generate and maintain BIM documentation, progress reports, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
    - Participate in defect resolution teams and provide strategic recommendations to close client complaints and quality issues.
    - Maintain and enhance the MEP Handbook, updating best practices and sharing knowledge within the department.
    - Keep the technical library current, including codes of practice and regulatory requirements.
    - Propose innovative technical solutions and value-adding recommendations for clients and consultants.

资格

  • 应征条件

    【 Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    - At least 7 years of experience in leading a team
    - Experience in building and structural projects, including airport A&A/expansion, shopping centers, factories, and office buildings
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), CAD, and MS Project
    - Comprehensive technical knowledge of MEP systems and general architectural and structural design
    - Fluent in English for effective communication with stakeholders
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and facilitate collaboration
    - Ability to implement departmental policies and strategies in projects
    - Capability to identify team challenges and lead solutions while coordinating with internal and external parties
    - Effective collaboration and organizational skills to manage cross-functional activities

    (Advantageous)
    - Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    - Knowledge and experience in architectural works relevant to the team
    - Track record of managing projects as the main point of contact and coordinating multiple stakeholders
